Red Cross Society Donates to Flood Victims in Malaysia

Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) on Thursday donated US$30,000 to Malaysian National Disaster Relief Fund to help flooding victims in the country.

 

Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Cheng Yonghua, on behalf of the RCSC, presented the donation to Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in the administrative center of Putrajaya.

 

Cheng conveyed the concern of the Chinese government as well the RCSC about the flooding in the tropical country, wishing Malaysian people in flooded areas could rebuild their home as soon as possible.

 

Badawi as well as representatives from the national relief fund expressed their thanks for the help and donation.
