Venezuelan President Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias left Jinan Sunday evening, concluding his six-day state visit to China as President Hu Jintao's guest.
After meeting with Chinese leaders in Beijing, Chavez arrived in this capital city of east China's Shandong Province on Friday, continuing his China tour.
During his stay here, Chavez and Zhang Gaoli, secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, exchanged views on increasing economic and trade cooperation between Venezuela and Shandong.
A business forum was also held in a bid to enhance economic exchanges between companies from both sides.
This is Chavez's second tour to Shandong after 2004.
Shandong and Venezuela have witnessed a trade volume of US$66.43 million in the first six months this year, up 48 percent year-on-year.
