Adjust font size:

Premier Wen Jiabao left New Zealand Friday morning for Cambodia after winding up his official visit to New Zealand.

The special flight, after leaving Wellington airport, made a stop over at Auckland International Airport, where Wen met with Michael Lee, Chairman of Auckland Regional Council.

The Chinese Premier arrived in New Zealand on April 5 for his official visit. During his visit here, Premier Wen met with New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark, talking practically and constructively about enhancing bilateral cooperation and having reached vital common views.

Premier Wen also met with New Zealand Governor-General Silvia Cartwright, and the opposition party leader Don Brash during his visit here.

New Zealand is the third leg of Premier Wen's four-nation Asia-Pacific tour which has taken him to Australia, Fiji, where he was present at the First Ministerial Conference of the China-Pacific Island Countries Economic Development and Cooperation Forum.
