China's State Council has appointed Jiang Yikang Vice-President of the National School of Administration.
Jiang, born in January 1953 in east China's Shandong Province, served as deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) before being assigned to the current post.
He once served as deputy director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee.
Meanwhile, the State Council has removed Chen Fujin from the vice-president post of the school.
Chen, born in May 1941, was appointed Vice-President of the National School of Administration in January 2000. He once served as deputy director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee.
