Fengxiang Gorge

Fengxiang Gorge

Opposite Meng Liang Ladder is a coffee-colored precipice called Fengxiang (Bellows) Gorge. Above some vertical crevices on the precipice is a bellows-like rock. Some said they were blacksmiths' bellows left by Lu Ban, a legendary god of carpentry, who came to help Yu the Great to dredge the river, hence the name Bellows Gorge.
