Action hero Jackie Chan was injured recently during the filming of the Hollywood production Rush Hour III.

It's well known that Jackie Chan always does all of his own stunts no matter how dangerous they are.

His insistence on doing everything himself comes at a price. In March this year, the star was injured in the chest on the set of Rob-B-Hood by a film staffer wearing the wrong shoes.

This time, on Rush Hour III, Chan reinjured his old wound while doing a back flip. The star was in a lot of pain, but continued filming.

A hospital visit confirmed the star did not sustain serious internal injuries or broken bones.
