Veteran actor Chou Yun-Fat will star in the new Hollywood blockbuster Children of Huang Shi.
The 19-million-dollar war epic is the true story of a young British journalist who saves a group of orphaned children with the help of an Australian nurse during the Japanese invasion of China in 1937.
Directed by Roger Spottiswoode, the film unites an international team from Hollywood, Australia and Germany.
The film's stellar cast include Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Myers, Chow Yun-Fat and Malaysian-Chinese star Michelle Yeoh.
Chow Yun-Fat will play a Chinese commander. Filming has just began in Dunhuang, in the province of Gansu.
