Action star Jet Li says it is tough playing a violent villain in his new Hollywood movie, Rogue, after recently portraying someone who preached non-violence in another film.
He said his movies continue to talk about his personal belief that violence is not the only solution, and when he suddenly goes back to a very violent character, he's struggling.
Li just released Fearless, a Chinese film about a martial arts master who evolves from an impulsive fighter into someone who preaches Kung Fu as a means of self-betterment.
Rogue, however, is about an FBI agent (Jason Statham) who tries to avenge his partner's death at the hands of the assassin Rogue, played by Li.
