Bad Boys' Mothers' Union Formed
Adjust font size:

Cheng Qiujie once thought that her son was hopelessly bad, as he kept telling lies, fighting with other boys, and cutting classes.

One day, she found him and other 12 bad boys in the company of a homeless child in the community. Later, she found they even bought pens, paper and books for the child, with the money they earned from doing part time jobs.

This deeply touched Cheng's heart. She called the mothers of 12 boys, and asked them to see what their kids were doing. The mothers then realized that there had been many good points in their kids' characters, which had gone unnoticed by them. So they decided to help the boys to get these points.

The mothers then pulled their heads together and decided to start an organization with the name of Bad Boys' Mothers' Union, through which they hoped to create a big family with love for their so-called bad boys. Only six months later, no one would address their kids "bad boys" any more.

Currently, there are 107 members in the union, and tens of thousands of mothers all around the country have indicated their desire to join the union.

The union has also set up its own blog, to help mothers who meet with difficulties in communicating with their kids.
