Japan's Kayoko Fukushi won the women's10,000m final at the Asian Games on Friday.
Fukushi, 24, led from the start to the finish, clocking the fastest time of 31 minutes 29.38 seconds.
Kareema Saleh Jasim of Bahrain staged a powerful sprint to edge Japanese veteran Hiromi Ominami for the runner-up place at 32:17.14. The 31-year-old Ominami had to settle for the bronze medal at 32:18.02.
