Weekly Weather Forecast (January 15 to 21)

Northwest China: January 15 to 16, southeastern parts of the region will be overcast with light snow. January 20 to 21, affected by cold air western and northern Xinjiang and some eastern parts of the region will become overcast with light snow. Some areas will have moderate to heavy snow accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds and lower temperatures. During the rest of the week most parts will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with little temperature change.

 

North China: During the week, most area will have sunny weather with little change in temperatures. January 15 to 17, the majority of the region will blow force 4 to 5 northerly winds. January 20, some of northernmost and eastern parts will be have overcast skies with light snow and force 4 northerly winds.

 

Northeast China: During the first half of the week most parts will be mainly sunny to cloudy with little temperature change. January 16 to 18, most area will have force 4 to 5 northerly winds. January 20 to 21, some easternmost and southern parts will be overcast with light to moderate snowfall accompanied by southerly and then northerly winds.

 

Central China: During the early part of the week middle and southern regions will have overcast and rainy weather with low temperatures while northern regions will be mostly cloudy. January 20 to 21, northern regions will become overcast while middle and central regions will be cloudy with light rainfall expected in some places.

 

East China: In the earlier days of the week middle and southern regions will be overcast with colder weather and rainy or snow while northern areas will be sunny to cloudy with little change in temperatures. January 20 to 21, some northern regions will be overcast with light snow while middle and southern parts will be cloudy to overcast with light rain in some places.

 

South China: In the first half of the week western and northern areas will see more overcast and wet days with cold weather while the remainder of the region will be mainly cloudy with occasional showers in some parts. January 20 to 21, western areas will have light rain while the remainder will be cloudy with light rainfall in some areas. s.

 

Southwest China: During the week eastern Tibet, central and eastern Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou will experience continuous overcast, wet and cold days. Some of Guizhou Province will have hailstones. During the first half of the week Yunnan will be dominated by cloudy skies with light rain in some places. In the latter half of the week most of Yunnan will be overcast with light rain.
