Northwest China: December 18-20, some of northern Xinjiang will be overcast with light snowfall and force 4 to 5 northerly winds. Remaining parts will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. December 22-24, western and northern Xinjiang and eastern parts of the region will be overcast with light snow. But some areas will have moderate to heavy snow with low temperatures.

 

North China: December 19, some of the northernmost parts will receive light snow. December 20-21, most parts will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds with colder weather. December 22-24, some of the northernmost areas will continue to have light to moderate snow while the remainder will be under sunny to cloudy skies.

 

Northeast China: December 20, some of central and southern parts will be overcast with light snow. December 22-23, areas in northern and easternmost parts will be overcast with light to moderate snow. December 23-24, most of the region will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds with a fall in temperatures.

 

Central China: Most parts will be dominated by cloudy to sunny skies. December 20-21, the majority of the region will experience force 4 to 6 northerly winds. December 21-22, some southern parts will be overcast with light rainfall.

 

East China: During the week most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies. December 19, some southern parts will be overcast with light rainfall. December 21-22, most areas will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds. December 23-24, some southern parts will be overcast with light rain.

 

South China: During the week most parts will be dominated by cloudy to sunny skies with showers or light rainfall in some places. December 18, some of Hainan Island will receive light rain. December 21-22, central and northern parts will have force 4 to 5 northerly winds.

 

Southwest China: December 18-19, southern parts of the Sichuan Basin and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will be overcast with light rainfall. December 22-24, eastern Tibet and some eastern parts of the region will be under overcast skies with light rain or snow. During the rest of the week most parts will be mainly cloudy with light rain or snowfall in some areas.
