Northwest China: January 16 to 18, southeastern sections of the region will have light to moderate rain or snow. January 19, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. January 20 to 22, a stream of cold air will affect most of Xinjiang bringing winds, snow and lower temperature, while the remaining sections of the region will see sunny to cloudy skies with higher temperatures. 

 

North China: January 16, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. January 17 to 18, western parts will turn to be overcast with snow or rain showers possible in some areas. January 19, most of the region will be under sunny to cloudy skies with warmer weather. January 20 to 21, affected by streams of cold air, northeastern parts of Inner Mongolia will receive light snow with lower temperature. January 22, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy.

 

Northeast China: Affected by streams of cold air, January 16 to 18, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with force 3 to 5 northerly winds with temperatures dropping. January 19, the region will enjoy sunshine skies. January 20 to 21, affected by another stream of cold air, most of the region will have force 3 to 4 northerly winds with colder temperatures and light snowfall in some northernmost sections. January 22, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures.

 

Central China: January 16 to 18, middle and southern parts will see continuous overcast and rainy or snowy days, along with light to moderate precipitation while some places will see heavy rainfall. January 19, eastern and southern parts will be overcast with light rainfall or snowfall. January 20 to 22, it will turn from cloudy to sunny with morning fogs and higher temperatures in most of the region.

 

East China: January 16 to 19, central and southern sections will experience continuous overcast and rainy or snowy days. The rainfall or snowfall will be light to moderate, but could be heavy in some of southern sections. January 20, easternmost sections will be overcast withy light rain or snowfall, then turn to be overcast. January 21 to 22, it will turn from cloudy to sunny with morning fogs and warmer weather in most of the region.

 

South China: January 16 to 18, most of the region will be cloudy with eastern and northern parts being overcast with showers. January 19 to 20, most of the region will have light to moderate rainfall. January 21 to 222, most parts will turn from cloudy to sunny with morning fogs.

 

Southwest China: January 16 to 18, eastern parts of the Sichuan Basin and eastern parts of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will get light to moderate rain or snow. January 19 to 20, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny while some eastern sections will be overcast with showers. January 21 to 22, central and western sections of Tibet will have light to moderate snowfall with heavy snowfall expected in some places.
