Ginza in the evening.
Ginza is a major shopping and entertainment district of Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. It is known as an upscale area of Tokyo, with many department stores, boutiques, restaurants and coffeehouses.
It is named after the silver-coin mint established there in 1612.
Ginza is an especially popular destination on the weekends, when the main north-south artery is closed to traffic.
