The First Session of the 10th National People's Congress adopted in Beijing Tuesday a resolution, approving the Plan of National Economic and Social Development for 2003 put forward by the State Council, which had been examined and verified by the Financial and Economic Committee of the NPC Standing Committee.
It also approved the Report on the Implementation of the 2002 Plan for National Economic and Social Development and on the Draft 2003 Plan for National Economic and Social Development, presented by former Minister in charge of the Development Planning Commission Zeng Peiyan.
