CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Holds First Plenum

The new Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held its First Plenary Session Friday.

CCDI's 121 members, who had been elected at the 16th CPC National Congress, attended the session presided over by Wu Guanzheng.

The session elected CCDI's new secretary and deputy secretaries, and members of its Standing Committee. The list of names will be submitted for approval to the CPC Central Committee.

Participants of the session were also present at the First Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
