CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Holds 8th Plenum

The Eighth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) was held in Beijing from November 4 to 5.

One hundred and ten members of the CCDI attended the session. Meanwhile, they attended the Seventh Plenum of the 15th CPC Central Committee as non-voting delegates.

Wei Jianxing, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CCDI, delivered a speech at the session, which was presided over by the CCDI Standing Committee.

The session discussed and approved a "Work Report of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to be submitted to the 16th CPC National Congress", and agreed to submit the report to the 16th CPC National Congress for examination.
