From April 23 to June 11, 1945, the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China was convened in Yan�an. The Party�s political line adopted at the congress was to boldly mobilize the masses and expand the people�s forces so that, under the leadership of the Party, they would defeat the Japanese aggressors and build a new China.
