Hu Jintao Attends Party School's Graduation Ceremony

Hu Jintao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Friday attended the summer graduation ceremony of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

Zeng Qinghong, an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, was present on the occasion.

At the ceremony, Hu, who is also Chinese vice-president and president of the Party School, presented certificates to some of the graduates.

A total of 885 trainees graduated from the Party School this summer, along with 2,600 trainees from central-level branches of the school, namely, branch schools run by departments directly under the CPC Central Committee, central government departments and departments of the PLA headquarters and arms and services.

The ceremony was presided over by Zhang Zhixin, vice-president of the Party School.
