Adjust font size:  ZoomIn ZoomOut

An 80-year-old man won respect from the residents in his housing estate in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province.

Wang Deyun has voluntarily been picking up cigarette butts in the housing estate for more than three years. Wang, nicknamed "the volunteer cleaner" by his housing estate, picked up more than 50 one day recently.

Wang's deed is said to have influenced a group of residents who voluntarily joined him to pick up cigarette butts and other rubbish in the city's Baibuting Housing Estate in the past few months.
