Cold Snap to Hit Northern Areas in 3 Days

A new cold snap will hit northern China in the next three days, according to China Meteorological Administration (CMA) on Sunday.

 

The cold front from Siberia, which has arrived at the western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and northern Qinghai Province on Sunday, will go on moving to the south and the east in the coming days.

 

The temperatures is expected to drop anywhere from six to 12 degrees Celsius in areas to the north of the Huaihe River from Sunday to Tuesday.

 

Heavy snowfall or even blizzards will hit eastern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwestern China, eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and northeastern China from Sunday to Tuesday.
