Colorful wires and bulbs stuffed into aquariums, a mini-sized "grand" building made from toy bricks, these are the art works from an ongoing "Get It Louder" exhibition in Shanghai.
The exhibition, which opened on July 21, has assembled works from more than 150 young artists from China and abroad, whose average age is around 30. Their efforts are divided into nine categories, including fashion, visual art, film, and architecture.
Ou Ning, organizer of the exhibition said the purpose of the show is to raise the voices of the young artists.
The artists will wrap up their Shanghai tour on August 4 and will hit Beijing on August 16 before traveling onto the southwestern city of Chengdu on September 13.
