Super girl winner Zhang Liangying is going to hold a solo concert in Beijing on July 28.

Tickets are selling fast for a concert by Jane Zhang in Beijing on July 28.

She'll perform at the Beijing Exhibition Centre to promote her second album, Update, which is released that day.
 
VIP seats have hit 1,680 yuan (US$222), which is a record for a Chinese mainland artist.

Promoter Hua Yi Brothers says it's because the exhibition centre is a small venue.

Zhang Liangying is a Chinese pop singer who came to prominence in China during the "Super Girls" talent show, which was similar to the "American Idol" concept.

She is known for singing her favourite songs in foreign languages.
