After being turned down by potential employers, a young man shocked passersby by running only in his underwear in front of the Window of the World tourism spot in southern China's Shenzhen to release his anxiety.
The Southern Metropolitan News reports the 19-year-old man came from Hubei Province. He arrived in Shenzhen this January with the hopes of finding a well-paying job. However, his job-hunting attempts ended up in failure after several days.
The man was frustrated by his lack of success. When he learned many tourists visit the Window of the World, he came up with the alternative idea to release himself.
He was immediately stopped by the security guard at the spot.
Psychologist Dai Yingpin says that men like the failed job-seeker usually hold high expectations for themselves, only for them not to be achieved. They choose alternative ways to get attention when they find they can't win their approval.
