South Korean pop star Rain's 2006-2007 world tour will kick off its Hong Kong stop this Friday.
The 24-year-old pop star, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, appeared in Hong Kong on Wednesday to promote his concert wearing sunglasses, a dark green blazer over a white shirt and a white tie and gray pants.
The press conference drew a large crowd of reporters, more than most local celebrities attract.
Organizers of the Hong Kong stop announced that choreographer Jamie King, who has worked with acts like Madonna and Britney Spears, will direct the entire world tour.
Other professionals, including visual and lighting designers Dago Gonzalez and Roy Bennett, who have worked with Christina Aguilera and Usher, have also been invited to work on the tour.
Having wrapped up two stops in Seoul and Las Vegas at the end of last year, the star will give two concerts in Hong Kong on Friday and Saturday.
