However, which countries are the favorites of Chinese students? According to a recent poll, most Chinese students are prone to study in the US, Australia and Britain among all the 23 major overseas educational destinations. The poll was conducted by JJL Group, an international education agency, and overseas-edu.com. The data was collected through the Internet and the telephone record of JJL's clients.

 

It can be estimated that the US will be the most favored destination in 2007, particularly as it has eased visa restrictions. Currently, it is also easier to get a study visa of Britain, because education has become an industry there. Britain even allows foreign students to apply for working visas after graduation, which is an important attraction to Chinese students.

 

In the poll in 2005, US was the favorite education destination of Chinese students, while Australia was only No.4.
