Taiwan will welcome its second exhibition of terracotta warriors and chariots from China's mainland will open on Dec. 1 in Taichung City, according to reports by Taiwan-based media.
Taichung's museum of natural sciences will host the four-month "Exhibition of Cultural Relics of the Qing Dynasty (221BC-206BC)".
It will feature 116 colored terracotta soldiers and carts, mostly excavated since 1999.
The exhibits will arrive at Taipei's Taoyuan airport, along with a group of mainland experts, on Thursday, and will move to the Taichung museum under police escort, the reports said.
In 2000 and 2001, Taiwan held the first terracotta relics show for about five months, welcoming a record 1.65 million local visitors.
