Hu Jintao joins a panel discussion with delegates of Jiangsu province on Tuesday. He listens to the delegates talk about social and economic development in the rich eastern province, and discuss his report delivered at the start of the Party congress on Monday.

Wu Bangguo joins a panel discussion with delegates of China's eastern province of Anhui Monday afternoon. He says that Hu's report is far-sighted, resourceful, practical and has addressed all the crucial issues faced by the Party at the current critical stage of reform and development.

Wen Jiabao joins panel discussion of the Sichuan delegation. He has called for unswerving emancipation of the mind to boost socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Preventive mechanism should be bettered for checking corruption while it is still in buds, Wu Guanzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, says Tuesday when discussing Hu Jintao's report to the 17th CPC National Congress with the Inner Mongolia delegation.
