The full session is to hold a supplementary election of four members for the Standing Committee of the Ninth NPC in the morning.
The Fourth Session of the Ninth NPC closes in the afternoon. Deputies are due to vote on seven draft decisions on the 10th Five-Year Plan (2001-05) and its report as well as the implementation of the national economic and social development plan for last year and this year. They also intend to vote on the performance of last year's central and local budgets and this year's budgets, the work report of the NPC Standing Committee, the amendment to the Law on Chinese-Foreign Equity Joint Ventures and work reports from the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
Premier Zhu Rongji will hold a press conference after the full session in the afternoon.
