Adjust font size:

China's Ministry of Labor and Social Security says that the newly graduates of year 2006 who haven't found jobs will be recorded on the unemployment list, effective from September 1st.

This year's graduates have left school for more than two months now, but many of them still are busy hunting for jobs. Even students who majored in popular subjects such as English, finance, and media are still struggling to get a position.

According to the recent statistics from China's Ministry of Education, the number of graduates of this year reached to 4 million, about 60 percent of them have been employed. But the officials say that the current employment situation is still serious. And for those students who are lack of working experiences, the Ministry offers free training courses to help the students develop practical abilities.
