Photos taken on Feb. 10 show the rehearsal of a foreign-style temple fair to be held in Shijingshan Amusement Park during the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) in Beijing. "Spend New Year touring temple fairs" has become the traditional program for Beijing residents.

 

Temple fairs that are steeped in Beijing customs have the light-hearted tempo and harmonious rhythm for leisure-minded participants celebrating New Year. The Spring Festival will fall on Feb. 18 this year.

 

 

The photo taken on Feb. 11 shows the workers are decorating the Summer Palace for a temple fair to be held in the park during the Spring Festival.
