Invited by the School of Law and Government of Dublin City University, the Chinese Ambassador to Ireland H.E. Mr. Zhang Xinsen gave a lecture on the Chinese Foreign Policy to the postgraduates in the International Relations Department on December 6, 2006.
In his lecture, Ambassador touched upon the guideline of China's foreign policy of peace, development and cooperation. Citing from his rich diplomatic experience, he offered his insight into the change of political landscape in the world and the development of multilateralism. He also went over such topics as China's relationship with neighbouring countries as well as with developed world. He answered a few questions from the audience.
Before the lecture, President von Prondzynski of DCU gave a lunch in Ambassador's honour. They exchanged views on wide range of issues of common concern.
