In order to offer some help for the HIV/AIDS-caused orphans in South Africa, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in South Africa donated a set of Jungle Gym Playground to the SOS Mamelodi Children's Village in Pretoria on Wednesday afternoon. Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. LIU Guijin, together with Tswane Municipality councilor and Director of the Village, inaugurated the Playground. The Ambassador noted in his remarks that although the total value of the donation this time only worth R100, 000, however, it is a practical step and sincere gesture by the Chinese government and its people in providing consistent help to the African people. The Chinese Embassy will endeavor to help those needed in South Africa in its own capacity. The Ambassador also wished the one hundred Children from the Village an early Merry Christmas and delivered Christmas gifts to the Children.
