A hospital was robbed by a man carrying an explosive package in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Tuesday afternoon, local police reported.

The robbery occurred at about 1:30 PM Tuesday in the hospital belonging to Hegang Mining Group in Hegang city, Heilongjiang. Eleven people were injured in the blast and 91,000 yuan (US$11,800) in the hospital's financial office was looted,

Initial investigation has shown the suspected robber was from a town in Hegang. Local police are trying to catch the man.
