Adjust font size:  ZoomIn ZoomOut

A bird found in Hong Kong has indicated a suspected case of H5 avian influenza, a spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) said Wednesday.

The spokesman said the long-tailed shrike was collected last Saturday and further confirmatory tests were being conducted.

He reminded people to avoid personal contact with wild birds and live poultry.
