A cold front along with a strong north wind is expected to drive temperatures down in north and northeast China over the next three days, according to the Chinese Central Meteorological Station.

The temperature will drop by four to eight degrees centigrade in some parts of north and northeast China, and 10 to 12 degrees in the eastern part of north China and central and southern parts of northeast China from Monday to Wednesday.

Drizzle and rain are expected in eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the central and southern parts of northeast China over the three days.

Steady rain will continue in the provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan in southwestern China over the next three days, with heavy rainstorms expected in western and southern Yunnan.
