Three people were killed and 11 others injured when a minibus collided with a truck and then plunged into a lake in east China's Anhui Province on Wednesday, local police confirmed on Thursday.
The condition of the 11 injured people was stable, said police of Liu'an, a city in Anhui Province.
The accident occurred at 7:30 AM Wednesday when a minibus with 14 people aboard collided with a heavy-duty truck and then plunged into a lake in Shouxian County. Three people were killed on the spot and 11 others injured and rushed to a local hospital immediately.
Heavy fog was blamed for the accident, police said.
