China announced on Tuesday that it has extended an anti-dumping investigation against imported paper for electrolytic capacitors from Japan.

The investigation will focus on the scope of dumping and the damages Chinese companies have suffered, according to a statement by the Ministry of Commerce.

The investigation will terminate on April 18, 2007 and may last until Oct. 17, 2007 if necessary, said the statement.
