Adjust font size:

Manzhouli, China's leading inland port on the China-Russia border, reports exports of more than 500 automobiles in January this year, a 160 percent growth year-on-year, local official source said.

The vehicles included cars, trucks, buses and vans, according to workers with the Inspection and quarantine Bureau of Manzhouli.

Located in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Manzhouli port saw rapid growth in mechanical and electrical product exports in 2005, covering 22 percent of the port's total exports.
