Organizations of Americans of Chinese origin in New York held a forum here yesterday to denounce the Falun Gong cult and its anti-science, anti-society and anti-humanity crimes.
Attending were more than 50 people. They all appealed to the Chinese government to crack down on the Falun Gong more severely, and asked the U.S. government not to adopt double standards on the evil cult issue.
Addressing the forum, Liang Guanjun said that the suicide incident on the Tian'anmen Square has enabled overseas Chinese to see more clearly Falun Gong cult's vicious nature of eliminating the human nature.
He said that oversea Chinese expressed their strong support to the measures taken by the Chinese government to strike the Falun Gong cult.
He also urged the U.S. government to deal with the Falun Gong in the same manner as it does other evil cults in the U.S., so as to safeguard the interests of the American people and ensure the normal development of Sino-U.S. relationships.
Chen Shanzhuang said that Oversea Chinese are appalled and shocked at the evil cult's dehumanizing acts.
He said, "Falun Gong has become the tool of the international anti-China forces to conduct anti-China activities." He appealed to the Chinese government to intensify struggles against the evil cult.
He aired the view that if the cancer of the Falun Gong cult were not eliminated, Chinese society would not be able to enjoy stability.
Lin Yihe called on all oversea Chinese to act promptly and resolutely in the campaign to foil any evil attempt of the Falun Gong to disrupt China's stability and sabotage the normal development of Sino-U.S. relations.
