Traffic violations committed during the past Spring Festival holiday will be made public, according to the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on Monday.

Traffic administrations will publish traffic offenses on traditional media and online.

The content will include the violator's name, car plate number, offense, penalties and, if applicable, the company the vehicles are registered with, said the MPS.

The social security number will also be released, which could affect their credit rating such as the premium rate.

The home address and phone numbers will not be publicized, the MPS said.

The MPS also said traffic violations related to passenger stock, tour coaches, dangerous chemical transporters and school bus will be given special attention as violations by drivers of these vehicles effect the public. Endi
