Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (1st, R) meets with diplomats to China from 10 countries including Indonesia and the representatives of international organizations at an emergency meeting held in Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai in Beijing, declaring that China will provide additional assistance totaling 500 million yuan (US$60 million) for the countries suffering from earthquakes and tsunamis in Southern Asia, Southeastern Asia and Africa, on Dec. 31, 2004.
