China is ready to enhance its relations with Cambodia to a
higher level, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said on Monday.
To achieve this goal, China and Cambodia should increase
high-level exchanges of visits, deepen economic and trade
cooperation, expand human and cultural exchanges, and improve
multilateral coordination, said Wen while meeting Cambodian Prime
Minister Hun Sen, who was attending the commemorative summit
marking the 15th anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations.
On bilateral economic and trade cooperation, China will take
more measures to contribute to Cambodia's sustainable growth and to
achieve win-win outcomes, said Wen.
Hun Sen said that as friendly neighbors, China and Cambodia had
been continuously making efforts to push their relationship to a
new high.
The Cambodian people feel grateful for the assistance provided
by China to their economic and social development, he said.
Cambodia hopes China to continuously help with Cambodia's
infrastructure construction, and welcomes Chinese enterprises to
expand investment and build an industrial park in Cambodia, Hun Sen
added.
