The press conference of the second China Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo (CNAITE) fruits was held on September 6 at the Changchun International Conference Center in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin Province.

 

Li Jinbin, vice governor of the Jilin provincial government and director of CNAITE Executive Committee, introduced related conditions of this event.

 

Statistics show that during the four and half days' exhibition, foreign trade volume reached US$384 million, including export volume US$305 million, import volume 79 million. Domestic trade volume totaled 1.155 billion yuan, including sales 967 million yuan, purchase 188 million yuan.

 

As for project promotion, the number of project promotion from Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning provinces reached 1,000, 142, and 137 respectively. The Jilin provincial government organized nine special project promotion conferences covering manufacturing, automobile and parts, petrochemicals, agriculture deep processing.

 

Four large-scale agreement signing ceremony were held during this fair. As for now, 15 countries and 18 domestic provinces have signed 257 cooperation agreements with Jilin Province, with a total investment of 6.74 million yuan. In addition, eight State-owned enterprise equity transfer projects were signed, with an asset reorganizing volume of 4.258 billion yuan.

High-tech products became one of highlights of this year's CNAITE, such as Toyota Partner Robot, Toyota Prius Hybrid, the anti-terrorism robot from Shenyang Institute of Automation under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the hybrid vehicle and soybean from the Jilin University.
